Our Fave Painting Projects of 2025
Every home we worked on in 2025 started with a conversation. About how a space is used, how it should feel, and what needed to change to better support the people living there. The projects featured here reflect those collaborations—thoughtful color choices, careful preparation, and detail-driven execution that transformed everyday rooms into spaces our clients truly enjoy coming home to.
Here are a few of our favorite transformations.
Lower East Side, Manhattan 2BR
This Lower East Side two-bedroom condo came to us with great bones—but years of wear had taken a visible toll. Peeling paint, water damage, and widespread cracking left the walls feeling tired and unfinished, and the lack of color did little to bring the space to life.
We began by fully skim coating the walls and repairing damaged areas with plaster compound, creating a smooth, solid foundation before priming and repainting throughout.
One of our favorite details was the doorway treatment: the exterior of each door was painted to match the hallway color in a semi-gloss finish for cohesion and durability, while the interior of each doorway was tailored to complement the mood and palette of the room beyond.
What started as a substantial painting and restoration project evolved into something bigger when we decided to go all in and replace the outdated flooring. Installing modern Pergo flooring panels instantly refreshed the space, tying everything together and elevating the condo from worn and dated to clean, cohesive, and contemporary.
Park Slope, Brooklyn 1BR
Subtle color choices can have a surprisingly powerful impact. This project took new-construction white walls and replaced them with Sherwin-Williams Creamy in an eggshell finish — a warm, understated neutral that instantly softened the space.
By color drenching the walls, ceilings, and trim in the same hue, we created a seamless, elevated look that feels calm, cohesive, and intentionally refined.
BedStuy, Brooklyn 3BR
This three-bedroom Bed-Stuy brownstone needed a refresh and some significant repairs. The project began in the primary bedroom, where we addressed significant ceiling damage caused by older roof leaks—carefully restoring the surface so the space felt clean, sound, and ready to enjoy again.
From there, we refreshed the walls, ceilings, and closets in the second and third bedrooms using cool, nature-inspired palettes that brought a calm, cohesive feel to each room.
In the bathroom, we lightened things up with a buttery yellow that instantly warmed the space, while also smoothing and repairing wall damage left behind by a previous medicine cabinet.
The result was a home that felt brighter, more balanced, and thoughtfully cared for—another happy client and a brownstone that feels refreshed from top to bottom.
Windsor Terrace 2BR
This family came to us looking to turn their Windsor Terrace two-bedroom condo into a calmer, more restorative space with personality and color.
In the primary bedroom, we transformed the space from plain white to a lush mint green that beautifully complements the room’s southern light, while also repairing long-standing wall and ceiling cracks for a clean, seamless finish.
In the bathroom, we swapped basic white for a warm cream tone in a semi-gloss finish, adding warmth while improving durability and moisture resistance. The result is a home that feels lighter, more thoughtful, and uniquely theirs.
Stay tuned for Phase 2 of this project where we’ll be installing wallpaper and creating a focal point accent wall.
Brooklyn Heights Studio Apartment
This Brooklyn Heights studio was a reminder that small spaces are the perfect canvas for bold ideas. We transformed the apartment’s once-white walls by introducing a striking accent wall of 4-inch red and white vertical stripes—adding energy, personality, and a strong visual focal point without overwhelming the space.
To balance the look, the remaining living area and hallway were painted in Behr Etched Glass, a bright, airy shade that kept the apartment feeling open and cohesive. The result proves that with thoughtful color placement, even a single accent wall can completely change how a room feels.
